PRESS RELEASE:

FOR ARENAS, “AMERICAN IDOL TOUR 2007” GOODS YOU’LL IDOLIZE
56 City Venture to Feature Souvenirs from Brothers Entertainment Merchandising

(Los Angeles, Calif., Sept 4, 2007)---How many Sanjaya wigs might sell out on the upcoming, 56-city “American Idol” tour?

Ask Los Angeles-based Brothers Entertainment Merchandising, which has been awarded the license by 19 Entertainment to produce commemorative souvenirs for the fifth annual American Idol tour, which will feature the hugely-popular show’s top ten finalists, including winner Jordin Sparks and runner up Blake Lewis.

According to Brothers president, Joseph Bongiovi, “We’re reviewing and conferring on a number of unique items for the tour, products that epitomize the novelty, spirit and uniqueness of the show and all it represents.” Items like Sanjaya wigs may not make the cut, but Bongiovi promises a dozen or so different souvenir products that fans will love, among them some surprises. There will also be an official online store featuring all of the American Idol Tour products for sale on the road. (www.idolstour.com).

Since going retail with its brand, “American Idol,” a prime time juggernaut for FOX TV, has licensed a variety of products, including a “Barbie®” doll.

The “American Idol Tour” kicks off Fri., July 6, in Sunrise, Fla. and continues through Sat., Sept. 22 in Manchester, NH. Stops are planned for Los Angeles, July 23, Chicago, Aug. 7 and the New York area, Aug. 24 and 28.

BEM’s initial client, Bon Jovi, is one of the world’s biggest selling music acts.  Their ground-breaking CD, “Have A Nice Day,” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and currently the band is on an extensive arena tour.
